Kalpana Ganguly was born and brought up in East Africa,where she was a teacher for a number of years.She has varied interests but her love for poetry reigns supreme.She is one of the founding members of Gitanjali Multilingual Literary Circle.She has recited poems on radio and the stage on number of occasions .Her poems have been published in quite a few anthologies
